Transaxle fluid capacities in TRANSAXLE FLUID CAPACITIES table are approximate system quantities. If changing only converter and pan fluid capacity will be less than listed. Correct fluid level should be determined using dipstick.

TRANSAXLE FLUID CAPACITIES
No Torque Converter Clutch
Check valve body and torque converter.
Torque Converter Clutch Always Engaged
Check valve body, oil pump assembly, torque converter and transaxle case.
Turbine Torque Check
Install End Play Checking Tool (T81P-7902-D) with sleeve into turbine splines in converter. Using torque wrench, measure turbine turning torque. Replace torque converter if torque exceeds 71 INCH lbs. (8 N.m).
