LIGHT SWITCH INSPECTION
- Inspect for continuity between the light switch terminals using an ohmmeter. If not as specified, replace the light switch.

- Inspect for continuity between the light switch terminals using an ohmmeter. If not as specified, replace the light switch.

- Adjust the tire air pressure to the specification.
- Position the unloaded vehicle on a flat, level surface.
- Seat one person in the driver's seat.
- Position the vehicle 3 m {10 ft} in front of a white screen.
- While adjusting one fog light, mask the other.
- Start the engine to charge the battery.
- Turn the front fog light on.
- Loosen the screw and the bolt, move the front fog light in the direction of the arrows and adjust the front fog light beam to the position shown in the figure.
- Tighten the bolt, then tighten the screw.
HAZARD WARNING SWITCH INSPECTION
- Inspect the hazard warning switch. (See «CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT INSPECTION [L3, AJ].»(ref-288779-S15624579652008062500000) )

- Remove in the order indicated in the table.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
AUTO LIGHT-OFF CONTROL MODULE INSPECTION
- Measure the voltage at the auto light-off control module terminals as indicated below.
- Disconnect the auto light-off control module connector before inspecting for continuity at terminals 1B, 1P and 2D. If not as specified, inspect the parts listed under "Action." If the parts and wiring harnesses are okay but the system still does not work properly, replace the auto light-off control module.

PANEL LIGHT CONTROL SWITCH INSPECTION
- Connect the panel light control switch connector.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Measure the voltage at each terminal (other than terminal D). If the voltage is not as specified in the Terminal Voltage Table (Reference), inspect the parts under "Inspection item(s)".
- Disconnect the panel light control switch connector.
- Verify that continuity at terminal D is as indicated in the Terminal Voltage Table (Reference). If there is any malfunction, inspect the parts under "Inspection item(s)". If the system does not work properly even though the parts or related wiring harnesses do not have any malfunction, replace the panel light control switch.

- Measure the wave pattern of panel light control switch terminals A and F using an oscilloscope. Oscilloscope setting: 5 V/DIV (Y), 5 ms/div (X), DC range
- Turn the light switch to the TNS or ON position.
- Turn the panel light control switch to the brightest setting.
- Verify that the wave pattern is as shown in the figure.
- Turn the panel light control switch to the darkest position and verify that the wave pattern is as shown in the figure.
