Connect the M-MDS (IDS) to the DLC-2. (Scheme 57): Identifying DLC-2
After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initial screen of the M-MDS. Select the "Module Programming".
Then, select items from the screen menu in the following order. Select "Programmable Parameters". Select "Audio Configure". M-MDS display Function Setting Sirius radio Perform a write on the instrument cluster for whether or not a SIRIUS satellite radio unit is equipped. NOTE: Do not operate the command because it is for factory inspection.

Remove clips A and B.
Remove the clip C.
Remove the pad.
While pressing the clip tabs in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in the figure, press the clip in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the tab of clip D from the console.
Remove the clip D.
Move the car-navigation unit assembly in the direction of arrows (1) and (2) shown in the figure and remove the hook.
Remove the car-navigation unit assembly.
Remove the wiring harness from the bracket hook.
Disconnect the connector.
Pull the wiring harness from the console.
Remove the screws.
Remove the car-navigation unit from the bracket.
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Insert the pins to positions UA', UB', UC', and UD' shown in the figure from the side of the USB device insertion area for the auxiliary jack/USB port, and verify the continuity at the insertion sida and terminal side of the USB device.
Verify that the continuity at the insertion side and terminal side of the USB device is as indicated in the table. NOTE: When inspecting the USB device insertion side, touch it with a paper clip or similar thin pin without directly inserting a tester into the terminals. If not as indicated in the table, replace the auxiliary jack/USB port.
