1. PRECAUTION NOTE: After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work. Refer to «PRECAUTION [03/2012 - ]». A Hard Disk Drive (HDD) is built into the multimedia module receiver assembly to store map and other data, and is used for the navigation system. Therefore, care must be taken for the following points when handling the multi-media module receiver assembly. When removing the hard disk drive, eliminate static electricity by touching the vehicle body to prevent components from being damaged.
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Parking Assist Monitor System) NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to «INITIALIZATION [03/2012 - 07/2012]».

10. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH REGISTER (w/o Parking Assist Monitor System) NOTE: The 4 bolts of the radio receiver assembly with register are installed though the service holes at the bottom in the instrument panel. Make sure to check all of them. If the radio receiver assembly with register is pulled without removing the 4 bolts, it may result in damage to the radio receiver assembly with register. Remove the 4 bolts. TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION *1 Service Hole Disengage the 7 clips. Disconnect each connector and remove the radio receiver assembly with register.
