  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (SFI SYSTEM) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Turn the Techstream on. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Codes. Read the DTCs using the Techstream. Result Result Proceed to No DTC A P0560 is output (SFI system) B B --> See step 4 A: Go to next step
  2. INSPECT TCM (POWER SOURCE, GROUND) Disconnect the A73 TCM connector. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Voltage Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A73-6 (BATT) - A73-2 (E1) Always 11 to 14 V Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.   1. READ OUTPUT DTC (DTC P062F) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Turn the Techstream on. Clear DTCs. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR [07/2012 - ]»(ref-602573-S12322516782014030500000) . Turn the engine switch off and turn the Techstream off. Disconnect the Techstream. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal and wait for 1 minute. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Turn the Techstream on. Select the following menu items: Powertrain / ECT / Trouble Codes. Read DTCs.   1. CHECK OTHER DTCS OUTPUT (IN ADDITION TO DTC P0711) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Turn the Techstream on. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / ECT / Trouble Codes. Read the DTCs using the Techstream. Result Result Proceed to Only P0711 is output A P0711 and P0713 are output B P0711 and other DTC C HINT: If any other codes besides P0711 are output, perform troubleshooting for those DTCs first. B --> See step 7 C --> See step 5 A: Go to next step
  2. CHECK TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL Check the transmission fluid level. Refer to «ADJUSTMENT [07/2012 - ]»(ref-602718-S15100388022014030500000) . OK Automatic transmission fluid level is correct. NG --> ADJUST FLUID LEVEL OK: Go to next step
  3. CHECK TRANSMISSION WIRE CIRCUIT Disconnect the TCM connector. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Resistance Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A74-12 (THO1) - A74-13 (E2) ATF Temperature 10°C (50°F) 5 to 8 kohms ATF Temperature 110°C (230°F) 0.22 to 0.28 kohms A74-13 (E2) - Body ground Always 10 kohms or higher A74-12 (THO1) - Body ground Always 10 kohms or higher TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION *a Rear view of wire harness connector (to TCM) HINT: If the resistance is out of the specified range with the ATF temperature shown in the table below, the driveability of the vehicle may decrease.   1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Turn the Techstream on. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / ECT / Trouble Codes. Read the DTCs using the Techstream. Result Result Proceed to DTC P2817 and DTC P0746, P0776, P0796, P2714 and/or P2808 are output. A Only P2817 is output B DTCs other than P0746, P0776, P0796, P2714, P2808 and P2817 are also output.
