1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FOUR WHEEL DRIVE CONTROL ECU - BODY GROUND) Disconnect the A27 four wheel drive control ECU connector. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Resistance Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A27-21 (L4) - Body ground Always 10 kohms or higher NG --> See step 3 OK --> See step 2
2. GO TO TRANSFER SYSTEM INSPECTION. Refer to «INSPECTION - Step 7»(ref-385235-S39413997002011021400000)
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FOUR WHEEL DRIVE CONTROL ECU - ECM) Disconnect the A38 ECM connector. Disconnect the A27 four wheel drive control ECU connector. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Resistance Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A38-21 (L4) - Body ground Always 10 kohms or higher NG --> REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR OK --> See step 4
4. REPLACE ECM. Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-385180-S10778133792011021400000)
