PROCEDURE

  1. READ OUTPUT DTC (DTC P062F) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Turn the Techstream on. Clear DTCs. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR»(ref-396631-S37801878482011050900000) . Turn the engine switch off and turn the Techstream off. Disconnect the Techstream. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal and wait for 1 minute. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Turn the Techstream on. Select the following menu items: Powertrain / ECT / Trouble Codes. Read DTCs. Result Result Proceed to No output A P062F B B --> See step 3 A: Go to next step
  2. CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS. Refer to «HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING»(ref-396530-S30973998832011050900000)

  1. INSPECT TRANSMISSION WIRE (ATF TEMPERATURE SENSOR) Remove the TCM from the transaxle. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard resistance Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 17 (E2) - 18 (THO1) Always 79 ohms to 156 kohms 17 (E2) - Body ground Always 10 kohms or higher 18 (THO1) - Body ground Always 10 kohms or higher HINT: If the resistance is out of the specified range with the ATF temperature shown in the table below, the driveability of the vehicle may decrease.   2. INSPECT ATF TEMPERATURE SENSOR Disconnect the ATF temperature sensor connector from the transmission wire. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
