| CAUTION | If oil pan is reused, remove all foreign material from sealing surfaces of cylinder block and oil pan. If bolts are reused, remove old sealant from bolt threads. |

- Install oil strainer. Tightening torque: 5.8~8.7 lb-ft (7.8~11.8 N.m, 0.8~1.2 kg-m)
- Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant to baffle plate along inside of bolt holes on contact surfaces. CAUTION: The oil pan must be installed no longer than 5 minutes after silicone sealant is applied.
- Install oil pan. Tightening torque: A, B, C, D: 5.8~8.0 lb-ft (7.8~10.8 N.m, 0.8~1.1 kg-m) E: 28~38 lb-ft (38~51 N.m, 3.8~5.3 kg-m)
- Install front exhaust pipe. Tightening torque: A : 29.7~40.5 lb-ft (40.2~54.9 N.m, 4.1~5.6 kg-m) B : 51~69 lb-ft (69~94 N.m, 6.9~9.4 kg-m) C : 15.2~20.2 lb-ft (20.6~27.4 N.m, 2.1~2.8 kg-m)
- Install LH and RH side splash shields. Tightening torque: 12~18 lb-ft (16~24 N.m, 1.6~2.4 kg-m)
- Fill with specified amount and type of engine oil.
- Connect negative battery cable.
- Start engine and check for leaks.
- Check oil level and add oil if necessary.
