PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION

Operation of the heating and ventilation system is controlled by the ATC module. Refer to Control Components article.

1. Remove the cover and disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to «Specifications»(ref-312541) article.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Drain the cooling system. Refer to «Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding»(ref-312545-S22371452422009041400000) article.
4. Remove the engine cover. Refer to «Engine Cover»(ref-312547-S27687687872009041400000) article.
5. Remove the radiator top hose. Release the 2 clips. Disconnect the quick release connector.
6. Remove the auxiliary coolant flow pump. Release the clips and disconnect the 2 coolant hoses. Disconnect the electrical connector.
