Testing & Diagnostics

Note. Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and review the general troubleshooting information (see GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION ).

Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
Check the throttle position with a scan tool or the HDS. Is 14.1% or less indicated when the throttle is fully closed? YES - Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time. NO - Replace the throttle body (see «THROTTLE BODY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-221333-S24874381242006022400000) ).
