  1. Remove the ACL outlet pipe. REFER to «INTAKE AIR SYSTEM COMPONENTS - EXPLODED VIEW»(ref-517563-S09135048742012121200000) .
  2. Disconnect the selector lever cable end from the manual control lever.
  3. Place the selector lever in DRIVE.
  4. Place the manual control lever in DRIVE. Rotate the manual control lever clockwise until it stops. Rotate the manual control lever counterclockwise 3 detent stops.
  5. Release the selector lever cable adjuster lock. Carefully pry outward the adjuster lock tabs. While holding the adjuster lock tabs outward, slide the lock to unlock the selector lever cable.
  6. NOTE: To prevent selector lever cable damage, do not apply force to the selector lever cable between the manual control lever and the selector lever cable bracket. NOTE: Make sure that the selector lever cable end is correctly installed onto the manual control lever ball stud by pulling back on the selector lever cable end. With the adjuster locking tab released, connect the selector lever cable end to the manual control lever.
  7. NOTE: After locking the adjuster, pull back on the adjuster to make sure it is securely installed. Slide the release tab back to lock the adjuster.
  8. Install the ACL outlet pipe. REFER to «INTAKE AIR SYSTEM COMPONENTS - EXPLODED VIEW»(ref-517563-S09135048742012121200000)
  9. Verify the vehicle starts in PARK and NEUTRAL only and the reverse lamps illuminate in REVERSE.

  1. Disconnect the selector lever cable end from the manual control lever.
  2. Place the selector lever in DRIVE.
  3. Place the manual control lever in DRIVE. Rotate the manual control lever clockwise until it stops. Rotate the manual control lever counterclockwise one detent.
  4. Unlock the adjuster. Pry the latch up. Push the lock tab to slide it over.
  5. Slide the selector lever cable end forward or backward to align it with the manual control lever.
  6. With the adjuster locking tab released, connect the selector lever cable end to the manual control lever.
  7. NOTE: After locking the adjuster, pull back on the adjuster to make sure it is securely installed. Slide the release tab back to lock the adjuster.
  8. Verify the vehicle starts in PARK and NEUTRAL only and the reverse lamps illuminate in REVERSE.

  1. Apply the parking brake.
  2. Position the drivers seat to the full rearward and downward position and fully recline the seat back.
  3. Remove the LH floor console side trim panel.
  4. Pull the RH floor console side trim panel outward to release the top 3 retaining clips separating the floor console side trim panel from the console upper finish panel.
  5. Position the latch trim panel aside.
  6. Remove the console upper finish panel screw.
  7. NOTE: The RH floor console side trim panel is removed for clarity. Unclip the console upper finish panel from the console. Start at the rear and work forward pulling upward to release the clips.
  8. If equipped, disconnect the hill descent control switch electrical connector.
  9. If equipped, disconnect the ambient lighting electrical connector.
  10. If equipped, unclip the ambient light bar.
  11. Move the selector lever to the full rearward position.
  12. Release the 5 tabs and detach the selector lever boot from the console upper finish panel.
  13. Disconnect the audio input jack electrical connector the power point electrical connector the USB connector and remove the console upper finish panel.
  14. Disconnect the selector lever cable from the selector lever.
  15. Remove the selector lever cable from the selector lever cable bracket and discard the selector lever cable retaining clip. Release the 2 selector lever cable retaining clip tabs and pull the selector lever outward.
  16. Disconnect the selector lever electrical connector.
  17. Remove the 4 bolts and the selector lever. To Install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
