3. NOTE: Do not allow coolant or any fluid to spill into the coolant pump wiring connector or the coolant pump wiring harness connector. If fluid is spilled or found in the coolant pump wiring connector, install a new coolant pump. If fluid is found in the coolant pump wiring harness connector, thoroughly dry the coolant pump wiring harness connector. Only connect the coolant pump wiring harness connector to the coolant pump wiring connector when both are completely dry. NOTE: Be prepared to capture escaping fluid. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer
4. NOTE: Be prepared to capture escaping fluid. Use the General Equipment: Hose Clamp Remover/Installer M8 Bolt Torque : 18 lb.ft (25 Nm) M6 Bolt Torque : Stage 1: 89 lb.in (10 Nm) Stage 2: 90°

1. NOTE: Three 2-piece grommet (a rubber overmolded aluminum torque limiter and a black rubber ring) assemblies must be present on the electric coolant pump before assembling it to the bracket.
