Removing
WarningDeactivate the pneumatic suspension before lifting the vehicle (2 or 4 post lift, workshop jack or customer's jack)
WarningAfter the ignition has been switched off: wait 15 minutes before disconnecting the battery to ensure that the programmed values of the various ECUs are stored
Disconnect the battery
Lift and support the vehicle with the wheels free
Remove
- The protective panel under the engine
- The front right wheel
- The front right mud guard
- The accessories drive belt
Insert the flywheel stop [1] (as "a", "b")
Tighten the bolt (1)
Remove
- The (3) bolt
- The pulley (2)
Disconnect the connector (as "c")
WarningThe magnetic track must not show any signs of damage and magnetic sources must be kept away from it; otherwise, replace the crankshaft pulley
Remove
- The screws (4) and (5)
- The engine speed sensor (6)
NoteRelease: the protective timing cover (carefully)
Refitting
Refit
- The engine speed sensor (6)
- The (5) bolt; tighten to 0,7 ± 0,175 daN.m
- The bolts (4)
- The pulley (2)
- The (3) bolt
Method for tightening the bolt (3)
- Pre-tighten to 3,4 ± 0,4 daN.m
- Angular tightening to 190 ± 5°
WarningWhen the angular tightening is obtained, check that the tightening torque of the bolt is between 8 and 16 daN.m
Reconnect the connector (as "c")
Remove the tool [1]
Refit
- The accessories drive belt
- The front right mud guard
- The front right wheel
- The protective panel under the engine
Reconnect the battery
WarningPerform the operations to be carried out following reconnection of the battery
