Removing
WarningAfter switching off the ignition: wait 15 minutes before disconnecting the battery, to ensure that the initialisations of the various ECUs are memorised
Disconnect the battery
Remove
- The nuts (1)
- The scuttle manifold (2)
- The engine cover
Disconnect the connectors (at "a", "b")
Remove the bolts (4)
Move aside the electrical harness (3) support
WarningUse a mirror to carry out the operations mentioned below (if necessary)
Disconnect the connector (at "c")
Remove
- The (6) bolt
- The camshaft position sensor (5)
Refitting
Refit
- The camshaft position sensor (5)
- The (6) bolt; without tightening it
Reused sensor
Position a 9,5 mm diameter pin (at "d") (example: drill)
Place the camshaft position sensor (5) at the stop on the 9,5 mm diameter pin
Tighten the bolt (6) to 0,4 ± 0,1 daN.m
Reconnect the connector (at "c")
New sensor
Place the camshaft position sensor (5) in contact with the target (camshaft pulley)
Tighten the bolt (6) to 0,4 ± 0,1 daN.m
Reconnect the connector (at "c")
Refitting (continued)
Refit
- The electrical harness support (3)
- The bolts (4)
Reconnect the connectors (at "a", "b")
WarningBefore refitting: check that the pollen filter is present in the scuttle manifold. check the condition of the pollen filter. (replace if necessary)
Refit
- The engine cover
- The scuttle manifold (2)
- The nuts (1)
Reconnect the battery
WarningPerform the operations to be carried out following reconnection of the battery
