Disconnect the battery
Removing
Disconnect the connector at " a "
Remove
- The 2 bolts (1)
- The CNG pressure and temperature sensor (2)
Refitting
Lightly coat the O-ring seal (3) with engine oil
Refit
- The CNG pressure and temperature sensor (2)
- The 2 bolts (1)
Connect the connector at "a"
Reconnect the battery
CNG injector distributor electrovalve
Removing
WarningDe-pressurise the CNG supply circuit (see the relevant operation)
Disconnect the battery
Disconnect the connector at " b "
Cut the clamping collar (5)
Uncouple the pipe (6)
Remove the CNG injector distributor (see the relevant operation)
Extract the roll pin (4)
Remove the CNG injector distributor electrovalve (7)
WarningDo not lose the spring (8)
Refitting
Check the absence of impurities on the CNG injector distributor filter (9)
NoteClean the CNG injector distributor filter with compressed air
Refit
- The CNG injector distributor filter (9)
- The spring (8)
- The CNG injector distributor electrovalve (7)
- The pin (4)
Fit a new clip (5)
Connect the hose (6)
Tighten the clip (5) using tool [2]
Connect the connector at "b"
CNG pressure reducer electrovalve
Removing
Disconnect the battery
Disconnect the connector at " c "
Remove
- The nut (11)
- The CNG pressure reducer electrovalve (10)
Refitting
Refit
- The CNG pressure reducer electrovalve (10)
- The nut (11)
Connect the connector at "c"
CNG tank electrovalve
Removing
Disconnect the battery
Remove the access flap (13)
Close the manual valve at "d" (clockwise)
Start the vehicle
Change to CNG mode
Accelerate to an engine speed of 3000 rpm
Wait for the engine to change into petrol mode (warning lamp flashing)
Remove the CNG tank protection cover (12)
Remove
- The 4 bolts (14)
- The protector (15)
Disconnect the connector at " e "
Remove
- The (17) bolt
- The CNG tank electrovalve (16)
Refitting
Refit
- The CNG tank electrovalve (16)
- The (17) bolt
Connect the connector at "e"
Refit
- The protector (15)
- The bolts (14)
- The CNG tank protection cover (12)
- The inspection flap (13)
CNG ECU
Removing
Disconnect the battery
Disconnect the connector at " f "
Remove
- The nut (19)
- The CNG ECU (18)
Refitting
Refit
- The CNG ECU (18)
- The nut (19)
Connect the connector at "f"
Reconnect the battery
CNG relay
(20) relay housing
The CNG system has 3 relays
- Principal relay (orange connector)
- CNG injector relay (green connector)
- CNG tank electrovalve control relay (black connector)
