The coils are attached to a compact box located and fastened on the cylinder head
"double computer-coil" ignition: 2 sparks occur, one at the end of the compression stroke, the other during the exhaust phase (wasted spark)

Injection ECU
The coil command and power stages are incorporated into the ECU (there is no external ignition module)
The ECU supplies each of the 2 coil primaries
The ECU selects the cylinder torques 1 - 4 and 3 - 2 through the information from the engine speed sensor
Injection system BOSCH MP7.3: the synchronisation of ignition is achieved by the sensor of the N°1 reference cylinder
