  1. Extract oil from line or shock absorber. See «OIL FROM SHOCK ABSORBER OR LINE, EXTRACTING»(ref-196275-S33968517622005100800000).
  2. Place suitable container next to used-oil tank -8- to collect used oil. see scheme 137
  3. Attach connecting hose -2- to used-oil tank -8- and hold free end over container.
  4. Close valve -4- (lever at right angles to direction of flow). see scheme 137
  5. Attach valve -4- to used-oil tank -8-.
  6. Attach pressure reducer -5- to valve -4-. see scheme 137
  7. Pull out rotary handle at pressure reducer -5- and turn it counter-clockwise as far as it will go.
  8. Attach compressed-air connection to pressure reducer -5-. see scheme 137
  9. Set pressure to 0.1 bar.
  10. Slowly open valve -4- and force as much oil as possible out of used-oil tank -8-. see scheme 138
  11. Close valve -4-. see scheme 138
  12. Reset pressure reducer -5- to 0 bar.

Note. A small residual quantity of oil is permitted. An empty used-oil tank is absolutely essential for the next stage, "evacuation".
