Front Air Guide Plate Replacement

Note. Take care not to scratch the body

Scheme 1

1. Remove the bolts, and release the hooks (A), then remove the front air guide plate (B)
2. Install the plate in the reverse order of removal

Front Strake Replacement

Note. Take care not to scratch the body. When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

Scheme 2

1. Remove the bolts, and the clip, and release the front strake (A) from the front air guide plate (B), then remove the front strake
2. Install the strake in the reverse order of removal, and note these items

1. If the clip is damaged or stress-whitened, replace it with a new one
2. Push the clip into place securely

Front Inner Fender Replacement

Note. Put on gloves to protect your hands Take care not to scratch the body When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

Scheme 3

1. Remove the front wheel (see «KNUCKLE/HUB/WHEEL BEARING REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tl/iv-2008-2011/remont/suspension-front/#front-suspension) )
2. Remove the front inner fender (A) -1 On the back of the wheel arch, remove the screws (B) -2 From under the front bumper (C), remove the bolts (D) and the clip (E) securing the front strake (F), the front bumper, and the front inner fender -3 From the wheel arch, remove the clips (G) securing the front bumper and the front inner fender -4 From the wheel arch, remove the clips (H, I) that secure the front inner fender (and splash shield) to the body -5 With SH-AWD (left side) Release the hooks (J) on the front brake duct (K) -6 Release the hook (L) on the splash shield, then remove the front inner fender NOTE: To release the clips (E, G, H), pry up on the center pin at the notch (M)
3. Install the inner fender in the reverse order of removal, and note these items

1. If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones
2. Push the clips into place securely

Front Splash Shield Replacement

Note. Put on gloves to protect your hands Take care not to scratch the body When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

Scheme 4

1. Remove the front wheel (see «KNUCKLE/HUB/WHEEL BEARING REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tl/iv-2008-2011/remont/suspension-front/#front-suspension) )
2. Remove the front splash shield (A) -1 Remove the clips (B, C) that secure the front splash shield to the body -2 Remove the clips (D) that secure the front inner fender (E) and the front splash shield to the body -3 From under the front bumper (F), remove the bolts (G) that secure the front bumper, and the front splash shield to the body NOTE: To release the clips, pry up on the center pin up at the notch (H)
3. Install the splash shield in the reverse order of removal, and note these items

1. If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones
2. Push the clips into place securely

Front Brake Duct Replacement

Note. Take care not to scratch the bumper and the body

Scheme 5

1. Remove the front bumper (see «FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(/acura/tl/iv-2008-2011/remont/exterior-body-panels/#bumper-system__front-bumper-removalinstallation) )
2. Remove the bolts, and release the hooks (A) from the front inner fender (B), then remove the front brake duct (C)
3. Install the duct in the reverse order of removal, and push the clips into place securely

Front Fender Fairing Replacement

Note. Put on gloves to protect your hands Take care not to scratch the body

Scheme 6

1. Remove the front inner fender (see «FRONT INNER FENDER REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tl/iv-2008-2011/remont/exterior-body-panels/#fenderwell__front-inner-fender-replacement) )
2. Pull out the front fender fairing(A)
3. Install the fender fairing in the reverse order of removal

Middle Floor Undercover Replacement

Note. Put on gloves to protect your hands Take care not to scratch the body With SH-AWD The left side is shown, the right side is similar Remove the left middle floor undercover (A) and the right middle floor undercover (B) -1 Remove the bolts Right side (without SH-AWD): Remove the nut -2 Release the hook(s) (C) Left side Right side (without SH-AWD) Install the undercover in the reverse order of removal First attach the hooks, then install the bolts starting at the rear

Rear Undercover Replacement

Note. Put on gloves to protect your hands Take care not to scratch the rear bumper and the body When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

Scheme 7

1. Remove the rear undercover (A) -1 Remove the bolts (B) and the clips (C) that secure the undercover to the body -2 From under the rear bumper (D), remove the clips (E) securing the undercover and the bumper -3 Lower the front portion of the undercover, and pull the undercover away from the bumper
2. Install the undercover in the reverse order of removal, and note these items

1. If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones
2. Push the clips into place securely

Fuel Pipe Protector Replacement

Note. Put on gloves to protect your hands Take care not to scratch the body When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

Scheme 8

1. Remove the left rear wheel (see «HUB BEARING UNIT REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tl/iv-2008-2011/remont/suspension-rear/#rear-suspension) )
2. Remove the clips, then remove the fuel pipe protector (A)
3. Install the protector in the reverse order of removal, and note these items

1. If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones
2. Push the clips into place securely

Rear Inner Fender Replacement

Note. Put on gloves to protect your hands Take care not to scratch the body and related parts When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

Scheme 9

1. Remove the rear inner fender (A) -1 Remove the screw (B) that secures the inner fender and the side sill panel (C) from the front of the rear wheel arch -2 Remove the screws (D) that secure the inner fender and the rear bumper (E) from the rear of the rear wheel arch -3 Remove the bolts (F), the screw (G), and the clips (H, I, J, K) from the rear wheel arch -4 Pull out the rear inner fender
2. Install the inner fender in the reverse order of removal, and note these items

1. If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones
2. Push the clips into place securely

Rear Air Outlet Replacement

Note. Take care not to scratch the body.

Scheme 10

1. Remove the rear bumper (see «REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(/acura/tl/iv-2008-2011/remont/exterior-body-panels/#bumper-system__rear-bumper-removalinstallation) )
2. Detach the hooks (A), then remove the rear air outlet (B) Take care not to scratch the body
3. Install the air outlet by pushing on the hook portions until the hooks snap into place
