Is the breakout box connected to the control module?

1. YES CONNECTED
2. NO Refer to «Connecting breakout box, transmission control module (TCM)»(ref-440235-S25287857342011121400000)

1. Ignition off.
2. Control module disconnected.
3. Turn of all equipment in the car that takes power from the battery (the interior lighting and radio etc). Connect an ohmmeter between #53 on the breakout box and the battery negative terminal.

The ohmmeter should read approximately 0 ohms.
