Gas pipe, checking for leaks
Special tools
9512761
Scheme 11
Ensure that the gas pressure is at least 100 Bar (10000 kPa), i. e. at least 1/2 tank.
Start the engine and let it run until it runs on gas.
Switch off the engine.
Empty the gas pipes.
Start the engine and let it run until it runs on gas.
Check all connections that were detached. Use leak tracer 9512761 .
Note. In the event of leakage, dismantle the coupling and assemble in accordance with the specification. Check for leakage.
Close rear gas tank valve
Close the valve for the engine gas on the rear gas tank.
Scheme 12
Close the valves (1) on the both front gas tanks.
Scheme 13
Remove the relay. See Removing the relay .
Close the valves for the rear tank, see Closing the rear valve for the gas tank , and the front tanks, see Closing the rear valve for the gas tank .
| CAUTION | Remove the connection outdoors. |
Slacken off the connection on the regulator until any gas begins to hiss out.
Scheme 14
- Remove the fluid reservoir for the power steering pump from the bracket. Place it to one side. To remove the fluid reservoir, see «Fluid reservoir, reservoir»(ref-445817-S37435769952012010600000)
- Disconnect the expansion tank and place to one side
- Remove the sensor using a screwdriver
- Disconnect the connector.
Engine coolant level sensor
In reverse order.
Oil level sensor, engine, replacing
Note. As the illustrations in this service information are used for different model years and / or models, some variation may occur. However, the essential information in the illustrations is always correct.
Install oil level sensor
Note. For tightening torques, see Tightening torque .
Install
- the sensor
- screws for the sensor. Tighten. Connect the connector to the sensor
- the oil plug.
Finish
Fill with engine oil. Run the engine to operating temperature. Check for any oil leakage.
Install the splashguard under the engine. Only applies to cars with automatic transmissions.
Check the oil level. Top up if required.
Oil pressure sensor
The oil pressure sensor is located on the bottom edge of the engine between the dip stick and the bracket for auxiliary equipment.
- Raise the car
- Remove the air baffles on both sides. Then remove the central air baffle from under the engine
- Disconnect the connector
- Unscrew the oil pressure sensor.
In reverse order.
Other information
- Tighten to: 27 Nm.
