Headlight Switch - Removal & Installation (Convertible): Other Volvo C70 I

Bulb

1. Remove the light switch
2. Twist counter-clockwise using a small screwdriver. Remove the holder and bulb.

Bulb And Light Switch

In reverse order.

Removing The Backrest (40%)

Fold up or remove the cushion(s) according to Cushion .

Remove

1. the side cushion according to «Side cushion»(ref-438269-S23520429002011120100000)
2. the lock side piece according to «Lock side piece»(ref-438275-S09938165132011120100000)
3. the backrest lock according to «Backrest catches»(ref-438271-S31405240242011120100000)
4. the backrest panel
5. the outer head restraint according to «Outer head restraint»(ref-438269-S19650919562011120100000)
6. the half moon clips at the bottom of the backrest by first opening the zip fastener
7. the half moon clips in the channels
8. the moldings on the frame.

Move the guide to the side.

Note. To remove the larger cushion, first remove the smaller cushion.

1. Remove the backrest(s)
2. Remove the two screws from the end mounting (48 Nm)
3. Remove the stop(s) from the seat belt buckle on the fold-down mechanism (hooked into place on the lower edge of the backrest).

Removing The Backrest (60%)

Note. To remove the larger cushion, first remove the smaller cushion.

Remove

1. the cushion(s) according to «Cushion»(ref-438271-S01482343372011120100000)
2. the side cushion according to «Side cushion»(ref-438269-S23520429002011120100000)
3. the lock side piece according to «Lock side piece»(ref-438275-S09938165132011120100000)
4. the backrest lock according to «Backrest catches»(ref-438271-S31405240242011120100000)
5. the backrest panel
6. the central head restraint according to «Center head restraint»(ref-438271-S09023876142011120100000)
7. the center armrest according to «Armrest»(ref-438271-S31515539582011120100000) .

Scheme 2

Install

in reverse order.

Note. Ensure that the upholstery support is correctly installed.

1. Remove the end piece according to «Side piece»(ref-438269-S07703408402011120100000) .
2. Push the side piece to one side.

Scheme 5

1. Unhook the spring and remove the side piece according to «Removing the side piece for the cargo net»(ref-438272-S29998973712011120100000) .
2. Fold out the spring from the catches. Replace the spring.

Installing The Side Piece For The Cargo Net

Install

In reverse order.
