Refit

1. the protective casing over the fuel level sensor (if removed). Tighten the bolts of the tank straps (if loosened) to a torque of 25 Nm.
2. both covers.
3. the cable holder with clips.
4. the panels and floor mats in the cargo compartment.

Check the functionality of completed work.

To proceed with the replacement, identify whether the car is constructed for On-Board Refueling Vapor Recovery or an Electrically controlled evaporation system.

Fuel / ignition systems constructed for Onboard Refueling Vapor Recovery (ORVR) can be identified using the VINCODE.

If the 8th position in the VINCODE is 8 or 9, the fuel / ignition system is constructed for ORVR.

HINT: The VINCODE decal can be found in three locations in the car

1. on the lower edge of windshield on the driver's side, visible from the outside
2. in the engine compartment, above the battery
3. on the driver's door well, under the lock.

1. If the car is constructed for ORVR: «Fuel tank, replacing»(ref-404033-S28813935662011061000000)
2. If the car is constructed for electronic EVAP: «Fuel tank, replacing»(ref-403954-S34914180012011061000000) .
