Note. The engine speed sensor -G28- is located on the cylinder block. See "Engine Speed Sensor -G28-" under CYLINDER BLOCK AND COMPONENTS

  1. Knock Sensor 1 -G61- It is necessary to remove the thermostat first, in order to remove the knock sensor 1. Refer to «COOLANT THERMOSTAT HOUSING WITH THERMOSTAT»(ref-475529-S29724114102012052300000) . The contacts are gold plated.
  2. Knock Sensor 2 -G66- It is necessary to remove the oil filter bracket first, in order to remove the knock sensor 2. Refer to «OIL FILTER BRACKET»(ref-475572-S03835935482012052300000) . The contacts are gold plated.
  3. Ignition Coil with Power Output Stage -N70, N127, N291, N292- Removing and installing, refer to «IGNITION COIL WITH POWER OUTPUT STAGE»(ref-475574-S21045112402012052300000) .
  4. Spark Plug 25 Nm If the spark plug is replaced, grease the ignition coil with power output stage. Refer to «INSTALLING»(ref-475574-S25244662572012052300000) . Type and electrode gap, refer to «SPARK PLUG TECHNICAL DATA»(ref-475574-S27378090622012052300000) . Remove and install using the spark plug removal tool -3122 B
  5. Bolt 20 Nm Tightening specification affects the function of the knock sensor.
  6. Bolt 10 Nm
  7. Camshaft Position Sensor -G40- Contacts are gold plated.
  8. O-ring
