  1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
  2. Remove the clips, and remove the trim panel - trunk lid.
  3. Remove the garnish - trunk. Remove the nut. Remove the clips, and remove the garnish - trunk.
  4. Remove the rearview camera assembly. CAUTION: Do not drop or apply any impact to the rearview camera because it is a precision equipment. Disconnect the rearview camera connector. Disconnect the claws and then remove the rearview camera assembly.

  1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
  2. Remove the trim panel - rear gate UPR. Remove the claws on the trim edge. Release the claws in the center of trim, and remove the trim panel - rear gate UPR.
  3. Remove the trim panel - rear gate pillar side. Release the claws. Remove the claws on the bottom of trim, and remove the trim panel - rear gate pillar side.
  4. Remove the trim panel - rear gate LWR. Remove the clips on both ends. Release the clips, and remove the trim panel - rear gate LWR.
  5. Remove the arm assembly - rear wiper. Remove the cover - rear wiper arm. Remove the nut, and remove the arm assembly - rear wiper.
  6. Remove the motor assembly - rear wiper. Disconnect the harness connector of the motor assembly - rear wiper. Remove the bolts, and remove the motor assembly - rear wiper.
  7. Remove the garnish assembly - rear gate. Disconnect the harness connector of license plate light assembly. Remove the nuts. Remove the clips and remove the garnish assembly - rear gate.
  8. Remove the rearview camera assembly. CAUTION: Do not drop or apply any impact to the rearview camera because it is a precision equipment. Disconnect the rearview camera connector. Disconnect the claws and then remove the rearview camera assembly.

  1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
  2. On manual A/C models, disconnect the control cables from both sides of the heater and cooling unit assembly. NOTE: Remove the glove box pocket assembly on the passenger's side.
  3. Remove the panel center assembly. CAUTION: Do not put your finger on the fin of the air vent grille. Doing so may damage the fin. Pull the panel center assembly slowly. Pulling with excessive force may damage the connector. Insert a plastic remover to the three areas shown by the arrows, and lift up the panel center assembly slightly. With the panel center assembly lifted up slightly, release the claw by using a clip remover wrapped with protective tape. Release the rest of the claws, and pull out the panel center assembly. Disconnect the connectors, and remove the panel center assembly.
  4. Remove the front accessory power supply socket. Disconnect the connector. While releasing the claw inside the accessory power supply socket, press in the claw from the rear to remove the accessory power supply socket.

Scheme 66: REMOVAL
  1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
  2. Open the console box, and remove the rear accessory power supply socket. Release the claws inside the accessory power supply socket. Pull the accessory power supply socket out to remove. NOTE: If it is hard to remove, remove the console box assembly and then release the claws from behind.
