Spark plug

- RH SIDE Remove the collector cover. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery. Remove the air cleaner case. < Ref. to «REMOVAL»(ref-306919-S29381940832008122600000) , Air Cleaner Case . > Remove the bracket (A). Disconnect the connector (B) from ignition coil. Remove the ignition coil. NOTE: Turn the #5 ignition coil to remove it. Remove the spark plug with a spark plug socket.
- LH SIDE Remove the collector cover. Remove the battery and battery carrier. Remove the bracket (A). Disconnect the connector (B) from ignition coil. Remove the ignition coil. NOTE: Turn the #6 ignition coil to remove it. Remove the spark plug with a spark plug socket.
INSTALLATION
- RH SIDE Install in the reverse order of removal. Tightening torque (Spark plug): 21 N.m (2.1 kgf-m, 15.5 ft-lb) Tightening torque (Ignition coil): 16 N.m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.8 ft-lb)
- LH SIDE Install in the reverse order of removal. Tightening torque (Sparkplug): 21 N.m (2.1 kgf-m, 15.5 ft-lb) Tightening torque (Ignition coil): 16 N.m (1.6 kgf-m, 11.8 ft-lb)
Direct ignition type has been adopted. Refer to "Spark Plug" for removal procedure. < Ref. to REMOVAL , Spark Plug . >
Install in the reverse order of removal.
