DESCRIPTION & OPERATION

Power mirrors are controlled by one control switch. On Forester, switch is located on driver's door trim panel. On Impreza, switch is located in center console. On Legacy and Outback, switch is located on left side of instrument panel. Control switch contains a change-over (select) switch that causes controls to affect left or right side mirror. Each mirror assembly contains 2 servo motors. One motor operates left/right movement of mirror and other motor operates up/down movement of mirror. Some models are equipped with side mirror defogger.
