TROUBLE SHOOTING
- Turn ignition switch to ACC or IGN position. Check power mirror fuse. See «WIRING DIAGRAMS»(ref-121729-S36337952442001090500000). If fuse is okay, turn ignition switch off. Remove power window switch. See «POWER MIRROR SWITCH»(ref-121729-S24606054152001090500000) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect switch harness connector. Turn ignition switch to ACC or RUN position. Check voltage at switch harness connector terminal No. 4. See «POWER MIRROR SWITCH CONNECTOR TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION»(ref-121729-S11625665912001090500000). (Scheme 1) If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair wiring as necessary.
- Turn ignition off. Check resistance between ground and switch harness connector terminal No. 2 (ground). See «POWER MIRROR SWITCH CONNECTOR TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION»(ref-121729-S11625665912001090500000). If resistance is 10 ohms or greater, repair open in Black wire. If resistance is not 10 ohms or greater, go to «COMPONENT TESTS»(ref-121729-S08388191502001090500000).
POWER MIRROR SWITCH TEST
Remove power mirror switch from center console. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect mirror switch connector. Check continuity between specified terminals of switch connector, with switch button in specified position(s). (Scheme 1) See POWER MIRROR SWITCH CONTINUITY TEST table. Replace switch if continuity is not as specified.
