Intake (Induction) (H4DOTC): Diagnosis Subaru Baja I

INSPECTION

Replace it if excessively damaged or dirty.

1. Inspect for cracks and loose connections.
2. Inspect that no foreign objects are mixed in air intake duct.

1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
2. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-208372-S04765423592005120700000) , Intake Manifold.
3. Remove the sensor, engine harness and fuel pipe attached to intake manifold. Refer to «DISASSEMBLY»(ref-208372-S13616985622005120700000) , Intake Manifold.
4. Remove the intake duct from intake manifold.

Inspect for cracks and loose connections. Check that no foreign objects are mixed in resonator chamber.
