SID 2

With the ignition ON, hold down the CLR and SET keys together for longer than 4 seconds.

Enter the unit required by "scrolling" with the Dot (-) or Arrow (+) key and press SET or CLR to select the unit.

When the unit is selected, the language will be shown in the top row. Enter the required language with the Dot ( -) or Arrow (+) key and select with CLR or SET.

The setting can also be concluded by pressing the NIGHT PANEL key or turning off the ignition.

Scheme 442: Trip computer

There are two trip computer variants, SID 1 and SID 2.

The trip computers SID 1 and SID 2 have the following functions in common

  1. TEMP (outdoor temperature)
  2. DTE (distance on remaining fuel).
  3. FUEL (average fuel consumption)
  4. SPD (average speed)

The SID 2 trip computer has the following additional functions

  1. DIST (distance to destination)
  2. ARRIV (arrival time)
  3. ALARM (time alarm)
  4. SPD W (speed warning)

The trip computer is controlled with the buttons under the display. To be able to perform the calculations required to present the information described above, the SID unit uses the following information

  1. Time, "own" clock
  2. Vehicle speed, unit km/h (mph)
  3. Fuel level, unit litre (gallon)
  4. Fuel consumption since starting, unit ml
  5. Odometer reading, unit km (miles).
