Crankshaft main bearing cap casting secured by 10 bolts M9 on each side of the bearings and seam line closed by 14 seam bolts M6

Main bearing cap casting main bearing shells without lugs and cylinder block shells with lugs

Crankshaft in forged steel with journals and stubs rolled and counterweights incorporated

Forged steel connecting rods manufactured by cleavable process with big end caps secured by bolt and split big end fitted with smooth shells

The ends of the crankshaft are sealed by sealing rings in the cylinder block on the engine flywheel side and in the oil pump housing on the timing side
