Important:

If a transponder key is lost, in the interest of safety reprogram the remaining transponder keys together with the new transponder key.

Note:

Before performing the programming the security code has to be entered. For the valid security code consult the car pass issued to the customer on delivery of the vehicle. The cursor keys are used to enter the security code, by selecting the desired digit and confirming with YES. When all four security code digits have been selected, input is confirmed with ENTER.

Press key F7 in the system main menu, select PROGRAM TP - KEY using the arrow keys and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions on the TECH 1 display.

If the display on the right appears after programming, the transponder key has been successfully programmed.

Press YES key, TECH 1 jumps back to menu SELECT PROGRAM.

Proceed with the programming of the next transponder key.

If the display on the right appears, the immobiliser control unit has to be programmed (security code, engine type, mechanical key number, vehicle identification number), before programming of the transponder keys can proceed.

If the display on the right appears, the transponder key has already been programmed. If it is to be reprogrammed, the old transponder code must first be erased (see section 4.7.2).
