FRONT RIGHT WHEEL SENSOR SHORT CIRCUIT
04
· Vehicle reference speed is higher than 10 km / h (7 mph) when the vehicle first drives off while the speed of the front right wheel remains lower than 6 km / h (4 mph).
or
· Vehicle reference speed is higher than 20 km / h (12. 5 mph) when the vehicle drives off each subsequent time, while the speed of the front right wheel remains lower than 6 km / h (4 mph).
or
· While travelling, at least one filtered wheel speed is greater than 10 km / h (6 mph), while the speed of the front right wheel remains 0 km / h (0 mph) for at least 20 seconds.
If above faults are recognized trouble code 62 is stored, the ABS is switched off and the ABS telltale is switched on.
· The ABS recognizes an impermissible speed of the front right wheel with a wheel speed and reference speed higher than 40 km / h (25 mph)
or
· The wheel speed of the front right wheel is more than 8 km / h than the vehicle reference speed.
or
· The wheel speed of the front right wheel is more than 25% higher than the vehicle reference speed.
This fault may be caused by:
· Damaged rotor
· Wrong number of teeth on rotor
· Noise in lead due to cable disconnection
· Sensor noise
· Sensor output lower than prescribed value
If above faults are recognized trouble code 62 is stored, the ABS control unit is switched off for the front wheels and the ABS telltale is switched on.
