Replace Engine Compartment Electronics (UEC) Opel Corsa D

Electronic Module 3 illustrations ~219 words

Important: When replacing the control unit, before removing the control unit carry out a "Reset" using TECH 2.

Remove

  1. 1. Disconnect battery
  2. 2. Loosen fuse box • Open fuse box • Disconnect positive terminal (1) • Unclip fuse box and put aside – Undo 3x clip (2)
  1. 3. Remove battery • Unscrew bolt (1) • Remove battery bracket • Remove battery
  1. 4. Remove engine compartment electronics module • Open cover (1) • Unscrew nut (2) • Remove positive cable with gasket • Remove module from bracket – Release module, rotate clockwise and remove, see arrow. • Release 3 compact plugs (3) and disconnect

Note. Pay attention to removal notice on cover

Install

  1. 5. Install engine compartment electronics module • Connect and lock 3 compact plugs • Insert engine compartment electronics module in bracket. – Rotate module anti-clockwise • Insert wiring harness with gasket • Tighten nut • Close cover

Note. Module must audibly latch.

  1. 6. Install battery • Insert battery • Insert battery bracket • Tighten bolt
  2. 7. Attach fuse box • Clip in fuse box – Clip in 3x clip • Tighten bolt on positive terminal • Close fuse box
  3. 8. Connect battery
  4. 9. Program volatile memories

Note. When replacing the control unit, after installing the control unit, execute "Program" with TECH 2.
