Replacing the Relay Box, Body Control Module (BCM), Rhd Opel Corsa D

Electronic Module 3 illustrations ~205 words

Important: When replacing the control unit, before removing the control unit carry out a "Reset" using TECH 2.

Remove

  1. 1. Disconnect battery
  1. 2. Remove lower foot well panelling, passenger side (3). • Unscrew bolt (1) • Unclip clip (2) • Remove from the guide
  1. 3. Remove glove compartment • Unscrew 4 screws (1) and (2) • Disconnect the wiring harness plug, glove compartment lighting
  2. 4. Disconnect relay support • Disconnect 5 wiring harness plugs (2) • Unclip wiring harness
  3. 5. Remove relay support • Unscrew 3x bolts (1) • Take out relay support – Release 2x wiring harness plugs (3) and disconnect

Install

  1. 6. Install relay frame • Connect and lock 2x wiring harness plugs • Tighten 3x bolt 5,5 Nm
  2. 7. Connect relay support • Attach wiring harness • Connect and lock 5 wiring harness plugs
  3. 8. Fit glove compartment • Connecting the wiring harness plug, glove compartment lighting • Tighten 4x bolts
  4. 9. Install lower foot well panelling, passenger side. • Insert into guide • Tighten bolt • Clip in clip
  5. 10. Connect battery
  6. 11. Program volatile memories

Note. When replacing the control unit, after installing the control unit, execute "Program" with TECH 2.
