Display
Two new displays are used: the graphic info display (GID) and the colour info display (CID). Directional guidance is represented with arrows in the monochrome GID (I) which is available for all models. The CID (II) is available for models Astra–G, Vectra–B and Omega–B. It is graphically capable and can display map sections due to its size and representation of colour. An illustration of the street network in the area surrounding the route (map representation) or any section of a map (atlas function) is displayed.
The following system information is additionally displayed on the CID and GID:

- Check control (depending on equipment)
- Radio
- CD player/changer (depending on equipment)
- Date
- Time
- Ambient temperature
