How to Remove and Install the Radiator Opel Corsa B

Radiator, Remove and Install

Depressurise cooling system by opening closure cap on coolant compensation tank.

Remove radiator fan shroud with fan motor - see operation "Fan Motor, Remove and Install" in this group.

Disconnect wiring harness plug from thermoswitch.

Disconnect coolant hoses from radiator.

Collect escaping coolant.

Unbolt radiator bracket from air deflector panel.

Remove radiator from lower rubber buffers and remove upwards.

Insert radiator in lower rubber buffer.

Bolt radiator bracket to air deflector panel.

Note routing of bonnet Bowden cable!

Radiator bracket to air deflector panel - 6 Nm / 4 lbf. ft.

Install radiator fan shroud with fan motor - see operation "Fan Motor, Remove and Install" in this group.

Connect wiring harness plug to thermoswitch.

Fasten coolant hoses to radiator.

Top up coolant - ensure that anti-freeze is adequate down to -30 �C/- 22 �F. Cooling system bleeds automatically during engine warm-up phase.

Allow engine to cool. Check coolant level, correct if necessary.
