| Complaint: | SVS illuminates, trouble code P2182(17) plausibility check is set. |

| Cause: | Manufacturing failure. Humidity can enter the coolant temperature sensor (radiator) due to a leaky sealing causing a wrong signal to ECU. |
| Production: | Improved coolant temperature sensors have been introduced in produktion as of July 2006. |
Remedy:
In case of customer complaint exchange the coolant temperature sensor partnumber: 55353809 / cataloguenumber: 63 38 046. There are only OK parts at P&A since CW 27/06.
