Charge Air Cooler Replace

Remove

1. Discharge the A/C(Air Conditioning) system, if equipped.
2. Remove the radiator grille guide. Refer to Radiator Grille Guide Replace .
3. Remove the radiator grille. Refer to Radiator Grille Replace .

4. Remove the engine under cover. Refer to Engine Under Covers Replace .
5. Remove the hood primary latch support. Refer to Hood Primary Latch Support Replace .

6. Remove the charge air cooler inlet/outlet hoses. Refer to Charging Air System Replace .
7. Remove the A/C condenser from the radiator. Refer to Condenser Replace .

8. Remove the radiator upper bracket.
9. Remove the charge air cooler bolts.
10. Remove the charge air cooler.

Install

1. Install the charge air cooler to the radiator.
2. Install the charge air cooler bolts.
3. Install the radiator upper bracket.

Tighten

Tighten the charge air cooler bolts to 8.5 N•m (75.2 lb-in).

Tighten the radiator upper bracket bolts to 20 N•m (14.8 lb-ft).
