Engine Oils Opel Agila B

Engine-Specific Oil Grades

All vehicles are bound to certain engine oil grades:

Dexos2™, ACEA A3/B3, ACEA C3, API SM/ILSAC GF 4: petrol/CNG/LPG engines

Dexos2™, GM-LL-B-025, ACEA A3/B4, ACEA C3: diesel engines

Note. Higher numbers indicate classification revisions. Engine oils with higher indexes in the specification can be used.

The engine oil grades are not interchangeable because they have different characteristics.

Adherence to the defined engine oil grade is decisive:

Note. A few engine oils exist which fulfil both A- and B-approval requirements and can therefore be used universally.

The engine oil viscosities take second place. The engine oils guarantee the maintenance of the engine systems over the stated service interval distances, combined with easy-running characteristics to reduce fuel consumption.

Non-approved engine oil grades according to ACEA

Engine oil grades ACEA-A1/B1 and ACEA-A5/B5 are expressly prohibited, since long-term engine damage could occur under certain operating conditions.

Additional Additives

The use of additional additives such as EUROSOL can lead to damage, increased oil consumption and cancellation of the warranty.

Opel therefore strongly advises you not to use additional engine oil additives.
