Heater Controls Bulb Replacement Opel Agila B

Remove

  1. 1. Disconnect battery negative lead • Release nut
  2. 2. Manual transmission vehicles only, release gearshift lever gaiter with trim cover (1) from lower centre instrument trim • Release 8x clip
  3. 3. Automatic transmission vehicles only, remove lower trim strip (3) from upper trim strip and lower centre instrument trim panel • Prise off to release 6x clip, 3x locator
  4. 4. Remove selector lever trim cover (2) from lower centre instrument trim panel • Prise off to release 6x clip, 2x locator
  1. 5. Remove trim strip (1) from instrument panel and lower centre instrument trim panel • Open upper storage compartment • Release trim strip from upper storage compartment – Remove clip (2) • Remove 2x screw (3) • Prise off to release 10x clip
  1. 6. Remove radio unit from instrument panel • Remove 4x screw (1) • Release 6x clip (2), 4x locator • Disconnect antenna lead • Disconnect harness connector
  1. 7. Release heater controls (1) from instrument panel • Remove 2x screw (2) • Release 2x clip, 2x locator
  1. 8. Disconnect harness connector (1) from cigarette lighter assembly
  2. 9. Disconnect 2x harness connector (2, 3) from heater controls
  1. 10. Remove heater controls from temperature control cable (1) and airflow control cable (2) • Release 2x clip
  1. 11. Remove 2x bulb from heater controls • Rotate anti-clockwise

Install

  1. 12. Install 2x new bulb to heater controls • Rotate clockwise
  2. 13. Install heater controls to temperature control cable (1) and airflow control cable (2) • Connect control cable, then set airflow selector arm to DEF position and secure clip • Connect control cable, then set temperature selector arm to MAX HOT position and secure clip

Note. Make sure that airflow and temperature outlet changes correctly, as airflow and temperature selectors are changed.

  1. 14. Connect 2x harness connector (2, 3) to heater controls
  2. 15. Connect harness connector (1) to cigarette lighter assembly
  1. 16. Secure heater controls (1) to instrument panel • Secure 2x locator, 2x clip • Install 2x screw (2)
  1. 17. Install radio unit to instrument panel • Connect harness connector • Connect antenna lead • Secure 4x locator, 6x clip (2) • Install 4x screw (1)
  1. 18. Install trim strip (1) to instrument panel and lower centre instrument trim panel • Push on to secure 10x clip • Install 2x screw (3) • Secure trim strip to upper storage compartment – Install clip (2) • Close upper storage compartment
  1. 19. Manual transmission vehicles only, secure gearshift lever gaiter with trim cover (1) to lower centre instrument trim panel • Secure 8x clip
  2. 20. Automatic transmission vehicles only, install selector lever trim cover (2) to lower centre instrument trim panel • Push on to secure 2x locator, 6x clip
  3. 21. Install lower trim strip (3) to upper trim strip and lower centre instrument trim panel • Push on to secure 3x locator, 6x clip
  1. 22. Connect battery negative lead • Secure nut 11 Nm
  2. 23. Program all volatile memories – see operation “Program Volatile Memories”
