Power Windows: Removal & Installation Nissan Altima L31

Removal & Installation

1. Remove the front door finisher. See «FRONT DOOR FINISHER»(ref-152560-S01978832662003022500000) in POWER DOOR LOCKS & TRUNK RELEASE - ALTIMA article.
2. Remove the door speaker.
3. Operate the power window main switch to raise/lower the door window until the glass mounting bolts can be seen.
4. Remove the glass mounting bolts. (Scheme 5)
5. While holding the door window, raise it at the rear end to pull the glass out of the sash toward the outside of the door. (Scheme 6)
6. Remove the mounting bolts, and remove the module assembly.
7. Disconnect the harness connector for the module assembly, and unclip the harness from the back. (Scheme 7)
8. To install, reverse removal procedure.

1. Remove the rear door finisher. See «REAR DOOR FINISHER»(ref-152560-S20736041102003022500000) in POWER DOOR LOCKS & TRUNK RELEASE - ALTIMA article.
2. Remove the inside seal.
3. Operate the power window switch to raise/lower the door window until the glass mounting bolts can be seen. (Scheme 9)
4. Remove the glass mounting bolts, and place the glass on the inner bottom of the panel.
5. Remove the mounting bolts, and remove the regulator and guide channel from the panel. (Scheme 10)
6. Disconnect the connector for the regulator assembly.
7. Remove the partition sash from the glass run. (Scheme 8)
8. Remove the partition sash mounting bolt (lower) and screw (upper) to remove the sash. (Scheme 11)
9. Remove the glass from the inside of the panel.
10. Remove the partition glass from the panel. (Scheme 12)
11. To install, reverse removal procedure.
