Power Windows: Overview Nissan Altima L31

DESCRIPTION & OPERATION

Power is supplied at all times

1. Through BCM terminal No. 28.
2. To main power window and door lock/unlock switch terminal No. 5, with left power window anti-pinch system and terminal No. 16, with left and right power window anti-pinch system.

With ignition switch in "ON" or "START" position, power is supplied

1. Through BCM terminal No. 29.
2. To main power window and door lock/unlock switch terminal No. 12, with left power window anti-pinch system and terminal No. 17, with left and right power window anti-pinch system.
3. To right front power window switch terminal No. 5, with left power window anti-pinch system and terminal No. 13, with left and right power window anti-pinch system.
4. To left and right rear power window switch terminal No. 5.

AUTO OPERATION

The power window AUTO feature enables the driver (driver and passenger with left and right front power window anti-pinch system) to open or close the window without holding the window switch in the down or up position.

DELAYED POWER OPERATION

When the ignition switch is turned to the "OFF" position, the power window will still operate for up to approximately 45 seconds unless the driver side or passenger side door is opened.

Operation Conditions

1. Driver and passenger door window is between fully-open and just before fully-closed position (when the limit switch is "ON").
2. During automatic operation when ignition switch is turned "ON".
3. During automatic or manual operation when ignition switch is other than "ON" position (when the timer operates).
