Malfunction detection function

  1. Expose the solar radiation sensor to natural sunlight. NOTE: If incandescent light is not shone on the solar radiation sensor, the climate control unit determines that there is a malfunction.
  2. Switch the ignition to ON, then press and hold the A/C switch for 5 s or more within 10 s.
  3. Turn the fan switch to the AUTO position.
  4. Turn and adjust the mode dial to the inspection item. If the system is normal, the A/C switch indicator light illuminates.   5. Press the recirculate switch or switch the ignition to off to finish.

Door position check function

  1. Switch the ignition to ON, then press and hold the A/C switch for 5 s or more within 10 s.
  2. Turn the fan switch to the LO position.

  4. Press the recirculate switch or switch the ignition to off to finish.
