COIL ANTENNA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Note. Do not remove the coil antenna unless you are replacing it.

Scheme 82

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the following parts: Hood release lever (See «HOOD LATCH AND RELEASE LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-244491-S26107736262006092400000) .) Scuff plate (Driver's side) (See «SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-244480-S39395734462006092400000) .) Front side trim (Driver's side) (See «FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-244480-S24861257132006092400000) .) Lower panel (See «LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-244480-S02909833382006092400000) .) Column cover (See «COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-244480-S03023275402006092400000) .)
3. Disconnect the coil antenna connector.
4. Detach the steering lock tabs from the holes on the coil antenna.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.
