CAR-NAVIGATION UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Note. Car-navigation unit is located on the right side of the trunk box under the trunk board.

Scheme 18

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the trunk box. See «TRUNK BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-345331-S28817313762009102000000) .
3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the following parts: Trunk box. See «TRUNK BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-345331-S28817313762009102000000) . Seat side box (RH). See «SEAT SIDE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-345331-S04400711882009102000000) . Trunk end trim. See «TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-345331-S25003096482009102000000) . Third-row seat (RH). See «THIRD-ROW SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-345332-S37062980262009102000000) . Rear scuff plate inner (RH). See «REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-345331-S02668570962009102000000) . Third-row seat belt lower anchor installation bolt (Passenger Side). See «THIRD-ROW SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-345333-S30110355222009102000000) . Trunk side trim (RH). See «TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-345331-S20889935252009102000000) .
3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 21

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the liftgate upper trim. See «LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-345331-S07737703532009102000000) .
3. Remove the liftgate side trim. See «LIFTGATE SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-345331-S36635637692009102000000) .
4. Remove the liftgate lower trim. See «LIFTGATE LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-345331-S30272720632009102000000) .
5. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
6. Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Verify the resistance and continuity between the noise filter terminals. If the resistance is not as indicated in the table, replace the noise filter.

1. Inspect the glass antenna for damage visually.
2. Inspect for continuity between the glass antenna terminals using an ohmmeter. If not as specified, replace the glass antenna. See «FILAMENT REPAIR»(ref-345336-S05764503872009102000000) .
