- Remove transmission. See TRANSMISSION REMOVAL & INSTALLATION article in TRANSMISSION SERVICING. Remove flexplate. Remove oil seal from seal retainer. Use Seal Installer (T91P-6701-A) to install oil seal. Tighten bolts to specification. See «TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-1338-S15062982612000031300000).
- If seal retainer is removed from cylinder block, apply sealant on cylinder block before installing seal retainer. Install and tighten bolts to specification in sequence. (Scheme 20) See «TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-1338-S15062982612000031300000).
