INSTALLATION

  1. INSTALL DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)
  2. INSTALL NO. 2 TELEPHONE BRACKET Install the No. 2 telephone bracket with the 2 bolts.
  3. INSTALL NO. 1 TELEPHONE BRACKET Install the No. 1 telephone bracket with the 2 bolts.
  4. INSTALL TELEPHONE BRACKET Install the telephone bracket with the 3 nuts.
  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT ECU ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System) Install the rear seat entertainment ECU assembly with the 3 nuts.
  6. INSTALL DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) WITH BRACKET (w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System) Engage the guide. Install the DCM (telematics transceiver) with bracket with the 3 bolts. Connect the 4 connectors.
  7. INSTALL DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) WITH BRACKET (w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System) Engage the guide. Install the DCM (telematics transceiver) with bracket with the 3 bolts. Connect the 7 connectors.

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 TELEPHONE BRACKET Remove the nut. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the No. 1 telephone bracket as shown in the illustration.
  9. REMOVE NO. 2 TELEPHONE BRACKET Remove the No. 2 telephone bracket as shown in the illustration.
  10. REMOVE BACK-UP BATTERY

  1. INSTALL BACK-UP BATTERY
  2. INSTALL NO. 2 TELEPHONE BRACKET Install the No. 2 telephone bracket as shown in the illustration.
  3. INSTALL NO. 1 TELEPHONE BRACKET Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration. Install the No. 1 telephone bracket with the nut.
  4. INSTALL BACK-UP BATTERY WITH BRACKET Install the back-up battery with bracket with the 2 bolts. Connect the connector.

  1. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY HINT: Refer to the procedure up to Remove Roof Headlining Assembly. Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-400826-S32028814202011051800000) .
  2. REMOVE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA ASSEMBLY Disconnect the connector. Disengage the 2 claws and disconnect the antenna cord connector. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the protector. Remove the antenna nut. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the telephone and GPS antenna assembly.

  1. INSTALL TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA ASSEMBLY Align the guide pin of the telephone and GPS antenna assembly to the guide hole of the roof, and then engage the 2 claws to install the telephone and GPS antenna assembly. Engage the harness to the notch of the antenna nut as shown in the illustration and install the antenna nut. TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION *1 Notch Torque: 4.5 N*m (45 kgf*cm, 40 in.*lbf) Engage the 2 claws to install the protector. Engage the 2 claws to connect the antenna cord connector to the protector. Connect the connector.

  1. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY HINT: Refer to the procedure up to Remove Instrument Panel Safety Pad Assembly. Refer to «REMOVAL»(ref-400826-S32028814202011051800000) .
  2. REMOVE NO. 5 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY Peel the strips of the tape used to secure the antenna cord only to the extent that allows removal of the antenna cord. Remove the No. 5 antenna cord sub-assembly.
  3. REMOVE NO. 4 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY Disconnect the connector. Disengage the 5 clamps. Disengage the 3 clamps. TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION *1 Front Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 4 antenna cord sub-assembly.

  1. INSTALL NO. 4 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY Engage the 2 claws to connect the antenna cord connector. TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION *1 Front Engage the 3 clamps. Engage the 5 clamps to install the No. 4 antenna cord sub-assembly. Connect the connector.
  2. INSTALL NO. 5 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY HINT: Double-sided tape and tape are not available as supply parts. If the tape still has enough adhesion to secure the roof headlining and antenna cord, reuse it. If the roof headlining has been replaced with a new one, or if the tape and/or the double-sided tape is no longer sticky, apply new tape following the procedure below. If the double-sided tape cannot be reused: Peel off the release paper from one side of new double-sided tape and apply the new double-sided tape to the position indicated in the illustration. Be careful not to touch the adhesive surface. NOTE: Be sure to apply the double-sided tape carefully so that the tape will not be misaligned or come off. Peel off the release paper from the double-sided tape. Be careful not to touch the adhesive surface. Area Dimension X 1.0 mm (0.0394 in.) Y 15.0 mm (0.591 in.) Align the vehicle front side marking (yellow) on the No. 5 antenna cord sub-assembly with the vehicle front side tab on the roof headlining, and wrap the tape over the antenna cord to install it. (A) HINT: If the tape cannot be reused, packing tape can be used as a substitute. Temporarily install the No. 5 antenna cord sub-assembly by placing it on the double-sided tape from the front of the vehicle to the point just before the extra cord storage area. Align the vehicle rear marking (yellow) on the No. 5 antenna cord sub-assembly with the tape attachment location (scribe line) of the roof headlining, and wrap the tape over the antenna cord to install it. (B) HINT: If the tape cannot be reused, packing tape can be used as a substitute. Temporarily install the No. 5 antenna cord sub-assembly by placing it on the double-sided tape from the rear of the vehicle to the point just before the extra cord storage area. Using double-sided tape, place any excess No. 5 antenna cord sub-assembly in the extra cord storage area to finish installing the antenna cord. HINT: Attach 3 pieces of double-sided tape to the extra cord storage area as shown in the illustration. Area Dimension X 1.0 mm (0.0394 in.) Y 15.0 mm (0.591 in.)
