1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH . Refer to «REMOVAL - Step 1»(ref-385214-S26241195972011021400000)
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE: w/ Navigation System: After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to «INITIALIZATION»(ref-385196-S36681500272011021400000) .
3. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to «REMOVAL - Step 27»(ref-385215-S25883065762011021400000)
4. REMOVE TELEPHONE ECU ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET Disconnect the connectors and 2 clamps. Remove the 4 bolts and ECU with bracket.
5. REMOVE MAYDAY BATTERY WITH BRACKET See step 5
6. REMOVE TELEPHONE ECU ASSEMBLY Remove the 4 screws and ECU together with the No. 1 telephone bracket from the No. 2 telephone bracket. Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 telephone bracket.
