- REMOVE FRONT WIPER BLADE LH Remove the wiper blade holder. Remove the wiper blade as shown in the illustration.
- REMOVE WIPER RUBBER LH Detach the head part (large side) of the wiper rubber from the wiper blade. Remove the wiper rubber in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration. Remove the 2 wiper rubber backing plates from wiper rubber.

- INSTALL WIPER RUBBER LH Install the 2 packing plates to the rubber. NOTE: Install the packing plates facing the proper direction. Install the wiper rubber to the claw of the wiper blade in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration. HINT: Install the wiper rubber so that the head part (large side) of the wiper rubber faces the arm axle side. Attach the head part (large side) of the wiper rubber to the rear end side claw of the wiper blade. HINT: Push the wiper blade into the grooves of the wiper rubber to attach if completely.
- INSTALL FRONT WIPER BLADE LH Install the wiper blade as shown in the illustration.

- REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER While turning the steering wheel to the right and left, remove the 3 screws. Detach the 2 claws to remove the lower steering column cover. NOTE: Do not damage the tilt and telescopic switch. Detach the 4 clips. Detach the claw to remove the upper steering column cover.
- REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY Disconnect the 2 connectors. Detach the claw and remove the wiper switch. NOTE: If the claw is pushed with excessive force, it may break.

- INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY Attach the claw and install the wiper switch. Connect the 2 connectors.
- INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER Attach the 4 clips to install the steering column cover upper onto the instrument panel cluster finish panel. Attach the claw to install the upper steering column cover. Attach the 2 claws to install the lower steering column cover. NOTE: Do not damage the tilt and telescopic switch. Using a screwdriver, while turning the steering wheel to the right and left, install the 3 screws.

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation. NOTE: After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

- DRAIN WASHER FLUID Remove the washer hose from the windshield washer motor and pump, and drain the washer fluid.
- REMOVE WASHER INLET SUB-ASSEMBLY Remove the bolt and washer inlet.
- REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR ASSEMBLY w/o Headlight Cleaner System: Disconnect the 2 connectors. w/ Headlight Cleaner System: Disconnect the 4 connectors. Loosen the clip and disconnect the headlight cleaner hose. Remove the 3 bolts. Then remove the windshield washer jar and pump.
- REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY Remove the windshield washer motor and pump.
- REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER MOTOR PUMP ASSEMBLY (w/ Headlight Cleaner System) Remove the headlight cleaner motor pump.
- REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER CONTROL RELAY (w/ Headlight Cleaner System) Remove the headlight cleaner control relay.

- INSPECT WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY HINT: This check should be performed with the front washer motor and pump installed to the washer jar. Fill the washer jar with washer fluid. Connect the positive (+) battery lead to terminal 1 of the washer motor and pump and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2. Check that washer fluid flows from the washer jar. OK: Washer fluid flows from washer jar.
- INSPECT HEADLIGHT CLEANER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY HINT: This check should be performed with the headlight cleaner motor and pump installed to the washer jar. Fill the washer jar with washer fluid. Connect the positive (+) battery lead to terminal 1 of the headlight cleaner motor and pump and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2. Check that washer fluid flows from the washer jar. - INSTALL WASHER INLET SUB-ASSEMBLY Install the washer inlet with the bolt. Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)
- FILL WINDSHIELD WASHER JAR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY WITH WASHER FLUID Connect the washer hose to the windshield washer motor and pump, and fill the washer jar with washer fluid.

Standard: Washer fluid hits the windshield in the areas shown in the illustration. If the result is not as specified, replace the washer nozzle. - ADJUST WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and separate the washer nozzle. NOTE: Be careful not to damage the windshield. Remove the washer nozzle from the washer hose. NOTE: Washer nozzles cannot be reused. Select a washer nozzle so that the contact area is within the standard. Replace the washer nozzle with the selected one.

- REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY Pull out the headlight cleaner actuator cover while making sure that the headlight cleaner actuator cover and holder do not separate from the headlight washer actuator, and hold the headlight washer actuator in place. NOTE: If the holder separates from the headlight washer actuator, replace the headlight washer actuator. Hold the headlight washer actuator without touching the nozzle. Using nippers, cut off the headlight cleaner actuator cover as shown in the illustration, and remove it. NOTE: After removing the headlight cleaner actuator cover, make sure to hold the headlight washer actuator in place until a new headlight cleaner actuator cover is installed. If the holder is damaged when the headlight cleaner actuator cover is cut off, replace the headlight washer actuator. Remove the 2 screws.
- REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE Disconnect the hose from the headlight cleaner motor and pump. Using a screwdriver, detach the 4 clamps and remove the hose. HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

- INSTALL NO. 1 HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE Attach the 4 clamps and install the hose to the front bumper reinforcement. Connect the hose to the headlight cleaner motor and pump.
- INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY Install the actuator to the headlight with the 2 screws. Install a new headlight cleaner actuator cover to the headlight washer actuator.

- INSTALL RAIN SENSOR TAPE If reusing the rain sensor: Install new rain sensor tape. Remove the used rain sensor tape from the windshield glass or rain sensor. Apply new rain sensor tape on the rain sensor lens surface indicated by the hatched area. NOTE: Keep the tape's exposed adhesive free from dust and fingerprints. Apply the tape exactly according to the specifications below. Specification SPECIFICATION CHART Area Measurement A 15 mm (0.591 in.) B 8 mm (0.315 in.)
- INSTALL RAIN SENSOR NOTE: Make sure the adhesive between the bracket and windshield glass is normal. If there is any residue left from the rain sensor tape on the windshield, remove it. Clean the glass surface with a cloth or similar material. Make sure there are no air bubbles between the rain sensor and windshield. Peel the separation paper from the rain sensor tape. Securely attach the rain sensor to the bracket. Push the stopper upward. Connect the connector.
