Horn: Removal & Installation Lexus LS IV

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL LOW PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY Connect the horn connector. Install the horn with the bolt. Torque: 19 N*m (194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf)
2. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (See «INSTALLATION»(ref-349716-S01754793652009120800000) )
3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See «INSTALLATION»(ref-349724-S09859827162009120800000) )
4. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH (See «INSTALLATION»(ref-349714-S23488176532009120800000) )

5. REMOVE HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY Remove the bolt and horn. Disconnect the horn connector.

1. INSPECT HIGH PITCHED HORN Apply battery voltage and check operation of the horn, as shown in the table. OK MEASUREMENT AND SPECIFIED CONDITION Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) --> Terminal 1 Battery negative (-) --> Body ground Horn sounds If the result is not as specified, replace the horn.
